Egypt
The Egyptian flag includes three horizontal bands of red, white and black. The white band features Saladin's Egyptian eagle in the center of the flag. These colors and symbol represent the history of Egypt and the character of its people.
Palestine
The Palestinian flag consists of three equal horizontal stripes of black, white and green, which are covered by a red triangle emerging from the undulation side of the flag.
This flag is derived from the Pan-Arab colors and is used to represent the State of Palestine and the Palestinian people. It was first adopted by the Palestine Liberation Organization in 1964.

Sudan
The Sudanese flag was adopted on May 20, 1970 and features a horizontal red-white-black tricolor design. On the ripple side of the flag is a green triangle. This flag is based on the Arab Liberation Flag of the Egyptian Revolution. The colors represent Arab unity and independence.
Iraq
The Iraqi flag consists of horizontal red, white and black stripes, adopted on July 31, 1963, with the words "God is greatest" in Arabic in green Kufic script. Its final version was adopted on January 22, 2008 and has removed the green stars that have existed since 1963.
Kuwait
The flag of Kuwait features a black rectangle on the send side with horizontal stripes of green, white and red. It was accepted on September 7, 1961, and officially sent on November 24, 1961.
The colors represent different periods in Arab history: red representing the Hashimi dynasty, white representing the Ummayad dynasty, green representing the Fatimid or Rashidun caliphate, and black representing the Abbasids.
Yemen
The flag of Yemen consists of three horizontal stripes of color, red, white and black, and was adopted on May 22, 1990, the day that North Yemen and South Yemen united. Red represents unity and the blood of martyrs, white represents a bright future, and black represents the dark past. This flag is identical to the flag of the Libyan Arab Republic from 1969-1972.
Syria
The flag of Syria includes a horizontal tricolor stripe of red, white and black and two green stars in the middle of the white stripe. Adopted in 1958, this flag symbolizes Syria's commitment to Arab unity. However, after the Syrian Civil War, the opposition started to use the green-white-black 'Independence flag'.
Jordan
The Jordanian flag was officially adopted on April 16, 1928. The flag consists of Pan-Arab colors with horizontal bands of black, white and green combined with a red chevron. The white star on the chevron represents the unity of the Arab people and the seven hills on which Amman was built.
United Arab Emirates
The flag of the United Arab Emirates includes the Pan-Arab colors of red, green, white and black. It was designed in 1971 by Abdullah Mohammed Al Maainah, then 19 years old, and adopted on December 2, 1971. The main theme of the flag's four colors is the unity of the Arab nations.
