Plankton
Plankton is a green microbe who is the arch-nemesis of SpongeBob SquarePants.
He is the owner and founder of the Chum Bucket restaurant, which competes with the Krusty Krab restaurant (owned by his arch-rival Mr. Krabs). In recent years, Plankton has become more likable and less villainous.
He often tries to steal the secret formula for Krabby Patties from Mr. Krabs' restaurant so he can sell it and make money for himself rather than simply being in business competition with him as he was earlier on in the series but always fails time after time due to his ineptitude and stupidity
Hulk
Hulk is a fictional character, a superhero who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #1 (May 1962). Hulk coloring pages
Yoda
Yoda is a Jedi Master who trained Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Force. He was born on the planet Dagobah, but lived most of his life on Coruscant. Yoda was short and green with an alien appearance—his large head and long ears were reminiscent of a goblin or leprechaun.
Mike Wazowski
Mike Wazowski is the green one. He's a monster who works with Sulley at Monsters, Inc., and is best friends with him (and Boo). Mike has a big head, small body and big eyes that make him look almost like he's wearing giant glasses.
Tinkerbell
Tinkerbell is a pixie and one of the main characters in Disney's 1953 classic Peter Pan. She is also a fairy, which means she can use her magic to fly and make things happen. In the movie, Tinkerbell's wings are green, but in most other versions they're blue.
Ben Tennyson
Ben Tennyson is a fictional character from the animated television series, Ben 10. He is the main protagonist of the series.
He has the ability to become ten different aliens due to an Omnitrix which was given to him by Azmuth, creator of it.
Peter Pan
The character of Peter Pan was created by J.M. Barrie in his 1902 novel The Little White Bird, and later became the star of his 1904 play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up. This character is a boy who can fly and never grows up, and he leads a group of lost boys to Neverland where they never have to be grown up again.
Peter's enemy is Captain Hook, who cuts off his hand and replaces it with an iron hook in order to defeat him; this has become one of the most iconic images associated with Peter Pan over time.
Beast Boy
Beast Boy (Garfield Logan) is a member of the Teen Titans, a group of young superheroes led by Robin. He has the power to turn into any animal and can communicate with them. Beast Boy was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 5th. His real name is Garfield Logan, but he prefers to be called Beast Boy because it's his favorite animal.
He is a vegetarian who hates meatloaf because he says it tastes like feet! He loves being part of the Teen Titans, but sometimes misses home where he used to live with his parents and sister Terra (who you can learn about in this article).
Green Lantern
Green Lantern is a superhero in the DC Comics universe. He was created by Martin Nodell and Bill Finger, appearing in All-American Comics #16 (July 1940). Green Lantern's real name is Hal Jordan, and he has been associated with various groups over the years.
Kilowog
Kilowog is a Green Lantern, who serves as a drill sergeant to new recruits. He trains them in the use of their power ring, which enables them to create constructs out of light. Kilowog is from the planet Bolovax Vik, and wears an orange bandolier of rings around his chest with his power ring on top.
Shrek
You know Shrek! He's a green ogre and he's the main character in the Shrek franchise. In fact, he was voiced by Mike Myers and has also appeared in various video games, including one where he had to rescue his wife from her tower prison.
But what else do you know about this lovable green cartoon character?
Shrek is kind of like The Big Friendly Giant but without all of the screaming at children who don't give up their dreams when they grow up (though he does have some of those qualities). Instead, Shrek loves food—and hates ogres. He's not really particular about his living arrangement either; Fiona is able to coax him out of his shell, but it doesn't take much effort because she just asks him if she can come stay at his place for a while after they meet at Lord Farquaad's ball (which was actually an illegal fair).
Miss Green M&M
You've seen him in the green bag, but you may not have known this character's name is Miss Green M&M. She was created to promote M&M's new green package design, which debuted in 2011. As part of a TV commercial for the candy company, actress Christina Applegate voices Miss Green M&M and tells us how she got her job:
Buttercup (powerpuff girls)
Buttercup is the toughest of the Powerpuff Girls. She's not afraid to use her fists when she needs to, and she's a tomboy who loves fighting. She can fly, unlike Bubbles and Blossom, and this makes her an excellent fighter as well as a capable defender of Townsville.
Her red dress stands out from the other two girls' dresses; it also has white trim on it and black buttons down the front that run from neckline to hemline.
Poison Ivy
You may know Poison Ivy from the Batman series, but did you know she's also a cartoon character? Cartoon Poison Ivy is not a villain; she's actually by herself. She lives in an enchanted forest and enjoys keeping it free of humans.
She can control plants and speak to them, so if you're ever lost in the woods, don't be surprised if one of those trees helps you out!
Bulbasaur
Bulbasaur is a Grass-type Pokémon that was first introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Bulbasaur into Ivysaur starting at level 16, which then evolves into Venusaur starting at level 32.
Luigi
Luigi is Mario's taller, thinner and often cowardly brother. He was introduced in Super Mario Bros., where he was a playable character for the first time (although he was an alternate color palette swap of Mario). Luigi has since appeared in many other games and spin-offs.
His exact age is unknown but given his young look, Luigi could be anywhere from 15-20 years old.
Buzz Lightyear
Buzz Lightyear is a fictional character who appears in the Toy Story franchise. He is a toy in the first film and a space ranger in the second film.
He also appears in the television series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. The character was created by Pixar and voiced by Tim Allen, who has been characterized as an action figure with superhuman abilities (flight, laser beams from his eyes, etc.)
Ninja Turtles
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a group of four teenage mutant turtles: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo. They were trained by their master Splinter in the art of ninjutsu and named after great Renaissance artists
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles first appeared in comic books published by Mirage Studios in 1984, created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.
Green Arrow
The Green Arrow was an archer who wore green clothing and his trademark round, mirror-like goggles. Initially created for an anthology series, the character became so popular that he continued to appear there for several decades; eventually becoming one of DC's signature characters.
In his first appearances during the Golden Age of Comic Books, Green Arrow's identity was given as Oliver Queen, a billionaire businessman and owner of Queen Industries who also operated as a detective under the alias "Green Arrow". By his own account he has been active for at least 20 years before Robin Hood.[1] He is generally portrayed as having liberal political sensibilities.[2][3]
Kermit the Frog
Kermit the Frog is a Muppet character who has been around since 1955. He is a green frog, and he's the leader of the Muppets. Kermit's most prominent feature is his lisp. His catchphrase is "Mah Na Mah Na," which means "That's right."
When you think about it, Kermit isn't really very green at all! He's more of an olive color than anything else, with some darker shades thrown into the mix for good measure.
Perry the Platypus
Perry the Platypus is a semi-aquatic egg-laying mammal of action, who constantly saves the world from dangerous threats by doing things like jumping out of exploding buildings and beating up bad guys with his tail. In fact, Perry's tail is so powerful that he can use it to defeat enemies using what's known as "the Platypus Pound."
Perry has also been an impressive tennis player, even though he doesn't have arms or legs. In fact, Perry has such an incredible serve that he once broke a tennis racket during one of his serves at Wimbledon in 1998.
Perry was considered for induction into this list last year but didn't make it because there wasn't enough room for him on our roster (we had decided to go with 10 instead).
Green Goblin
Green Goblin is the alter ego of Norman Osborn, a scientist who was transformed into a super villain by an accidental chemical explosion. The Green Goblin uses his glider to fly, and has a pumpkin bomb launcher on his wrist. He also wears tights and green spandex, which only serves to make him look even more ridiculous.
Kang and Kodos
Kang and Kodos are a duo of extraterrestrial characters from the animated television series The Simpsons. Kang is one of the few members of his race to be more than just a comic relief character, with some episodes focusing on him as an anti-hero or villain.
Gamora
You can't go wrong with Gamora. She's a major player in the Guardians of the Galaxy and one of their most powerful members. She has superhuman strength and speed, regenerative healing factor and she even has super senses that allow her to detect danger around her at all times!
Mr. Gus
Mr. Gus is a green alien with a big nose, big head and an overall chubby appearance. He’s also a very friendly guy who loves to help out whenever he can.
Mr. Gus originates from the planet Uranus and was sent on Earth as part of a mission to make friends with humans. Since then, he has been living with Uncle Grandpa in his home dimension known as The Land of Uncle Grandpa where they have many adventures together while helping others along the way!
Cragger
Cragger is a character in the Lego Legends of Chima franchise. He is a lion and the Leader of the Lion Tribe. Cragger's name comes from the fact that he is a lion, as well as his species being called "crag."
Grinch
Grinch is a fictional character created by Dr. Seuss and is known for being the main antagonist of his book, How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
He has green skin, a large nose and ears, sharp teeth that are pointed up at the ends. He wears clothes similar to those worn by cavemen or grungy hippies in the 1960's. Grinch Coloring Pages
Oscar the Grouch
Oscar the Grouch is a green character, and he's also a grouch. In fact, he's probably the grumpiest of them all. He lives in a trash can, mostly because he loves to be around garbage (yuck!). Oscar is best known for his famous line: "I love trash."
However, don't let his cranky demeanor fool you—Oscar has had some positive experiences in his life as well! Once upon a time he was friends with Big Bird and Snuffleupagus (who are both blue). He even met President Bill Clinton once!
Mojo Jojo
Mojo Jojo is a fictional character from the animated television series The Powerpuff Girls.
He is a monkey who was born with super intelligence and an enlarged brain, which gives him psychic abilities (including telekinesis).
He uses these powers to commit crimes, but his goal is always to destroy Townsville and take over the world via a dictatorship. In most episodes involving Mojo Jojo, he starts out planning to destroy Townsville in one way or another, but then ends up defeated by The Powerpuff Girls (and sometimes HIM).
The Great Gazoo
The Great Gazoo is a character from The Flintstones. He is a green alien who was sent to Earth in order to monitor the planet, but ended up making friends with Fred Flintstone and his family.
He was only allowed to stay on Earth because the Galactic Council believed that humans were incapable of handling complex technology. He was voiced by Harvey Korman during his first appearance, although following episodes had him voiced by Alan Reed, who also played Fred's boss Mr. Slate in the original series (and later reprised this role).
Marvin the Martian
Marvin the Martian is a character in Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons. He is an alien who wants to blow up Earth.
Marvin has a square head, rectangular body, two arms and legs like everyone else on Earth. This makes him look very different from us but it doesn't mean that he isn't one of us!
Gumby
Gumby is a green cartoon character who was created by Art Clokey. Gumby was a claymation character that appeared in the 1960s as a popular TV show, but he has also been featured in numerous movies since then.
Gumby is one of the best-known green cartoon characters because of his popularity from his early days on television. He continues to be an important figure for many people, even though he lives primarily online now and no longer appears on your TV screen!
Princess Fiona
Princess Fiona is a fictional character from the Shrek franchise. She is the daughter of King Harold and Queen Lillian of Far, Far Away.
Fiona was cursed by her Fairy Godmother at birth to become an old woman on her 18th birthday. On this day, she finds herself married (after being kidnapped) to Shrek, a man-eating ogre whom she immediately abandons in favor of returning to the castle where she grew up.
Krusty the Clown
He is a clown, and he also works as a television entertainer. Krusty the Clown is one of the funniest characters on TV because he has funny hair, clothes, and shoes! Krusty's name comes from his high school nickname "Kruggy."
Slimer
Slimer is a ghost, but he's not just any old ghost. He's green! (Like all of the other characters in this list.) And he's from the movie Ghostbusters. If you haven't seen it, then maybe you'd like to watch it some time? It's pretty popular.
