There are many notable Ravenclaw characters in the Harry Potter series, including Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, and Cho Chang. But there are also some less famous Ravenclaws who are nonetheless important to the story.

1. Quirinus Quirrell

Quirinus Quirrell was the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor during Harry’s first year at Hogwarts. He was an unconventional teacher, to say the least, and he was eventually revealed to be under the influence of Lord Voldemort. Still, he was a Ravenclaw and he did teach Harry a lot about defensive magic.

2. Gilderoy Lockhart

Gilderoy Lockhart was the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor during Harry’s second year at Hogwarts. He was a vain and egotistical man, but he was also a Ravenclaw and a talented wizard. He eventually lost his memory after trying to use a memory Charm on Harry, but he still played an important role in Harry’s education.

3. Cho Chang

Cho Chang was a Ravenclaw student who Harry developed a crush on during his fourth year at Hogwarts. She was a talented Quidditch player and a good friend to Harry, even though their relationship was often tumultuous. Cho eventually married another Ravenclaw, Cedric Diggory.

4. Luna Lovegood

Luna Lovegood was a Ravenclaw student who became friends with Harry during his fifth year at Hogwarts. She was an eccentric girl with a unique view of the world, and she was an important part of Dumbledore’s Army. Luna eventually married Rolf Scamander, the grandson of famed magizoologist Newt Scamander.

5. Filius Flitwick

Filius Flitwick was the Charms professor at Hogwarts and the head of Ravenclaw House. He was a small man with a big personality, and he was one of Harry’s favorite teachers.

He continued to teach at Hogwarts even after the Battle of Hogwarts, and he eventually became the headmaster of wizarding school Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.
