The white in the center (#FFFFFF) represents peace and solidarity between these two groups.

This flag, whose story dates back to 1848, was gifted to Irish nationalist Thomas Francis Meagher and was symbolized in the 1916 Easter Rising. Celebrate this beautiful union without thinking “green or orange is brighter?”
