The Israeli flag has chosen its colors in a very “look to the sky for inspiration” style. The strips of blue come from the tallit, the sacred prayer shawl of Judaism.

These strips also symbolize the longing for eternity, as if to say “we have dreams as wide as the blue sky”. As for the color codes, the blue flag is #005eb8, which means 'sailor blue', and the white flag is #ffffff, which means 'pure white'. When we take a look at its story, this flag actually originated in 1891 and was officially adopted in 1948 when Israel officially gained its independence.
