Pac Man Colors
Pac-Man, aka our yellow round friend! For many of us, it was the first “game addiction” and a never-ending adventure of “running away from ghosts”.
This iconic game created an iconic world not only with itself, but also with the colors it used.
That yellow color (#fdfd01) typifies Pac-Man's “I can swallow anything” attitude.
Ghosts? They're not idle either! Red #ff0200 (Blinky), blue #1f1fe2 (Inky), pink #e2a484 (Pinky) and orange #03fc00 (Clyde), each with their own character. A real gang of ghosts!
The creator of Pac-Man was inspired by a slice of pizza and thought, “Why not make a game that everyone can eat and finish?”
To his credit, he did what he thought. And of course, that classic navy blue color (#1717a8) is the perfect background to increase the tension of the game.
