Samoa Flag Colors

The colors of the French flag are as meaningful as a French patisserie! Blue (#002654) stands for freedom, exactly the kind that the French revolutionaries overthrew the monarchy instead of saying “let's go out for some air”. White (#FFFFFF) is in charge of equality, perhaps a reference to the color of that famous French feta cheese.

The red (#ED2939) symbolizes the amount of blood spilled during the revolution, but fortunately it's not as sweet as macarons! The flag was created in 1790 and embodies the three fundamental ideals of the revolution: liberty, equality and, of course, a sweet fraternity.
