Tanjiro is a regular boy who enjoys playing around and reading but at night he becomes Tanjiro the Masked Demon to battle evil. 

The Masked Demon is a gentle giant that has the ability to transform into a wolf and fight his enemies with his powerful punches, unique weapon named Hanashi Sashi, and throwing knives.

Tanjiro’s Nature

Tanjiro in the past was protected by his older brother, Kaizou Katsuragi, who taught him many things including martial arts. One day Kaizou was poisoned during battle and soon passed away leaving Tanjiro alone. 

Eventually after raising himself up in adulthood he met Nezuko Kamata in his travels, who had lost her parents as well and they both became very close friends deciding to stay with each other so that they would not be alone again.
